JOIN THE CHORALIERS!

Choraliers is a community choir oriented toward older adults and seniors. Our mission is seniors reaching out to seniors through song. Each season includes 3-5 performances, usually during the day, at senior-oriented venues such as convalescent hospitals, nutrition centers, senior centers, or retirement residences.

We sing a variety of fun and inspiring music, mostly popular songs, from old-time favorites to Broadway hit tunes, along with some world music and a classical piece or two. Most songs are in three-part harmony (soprano, alto, baritone).

Laura Green is our director, accompanist, agent, and cheerleader. She strives to make rehearsals fun and educational and performances enjoyable and rewarding for both performers and audiences.

We meet at Quinlan Community Center in Cupertino on Monday mornings, 9:30-11:00. People are welcome to join at any time, but it's best to join early in a season, when we start learning new music. If you are planning to start mid-season, call Laura or one of the other contacts before coming the first time, because we are sometimes out doing a performance during our normal rehearsal time.

Our Fall/Holiday season begins Monday, January 4th, 9:30 AM at the Quinlan center. Dues are $25 per season per person, or $37.50 per couple, plus the cost of sheet music. Scholarships are available for those for whom the fees are a hardship.

We can be booked to sing at meetings or events, for a donation. Contact Ellen Rose for details.
